​Welcome to RescueRx, a private online prescribing service led by a registered Pharmacist Independent Prescriber (“the Clinician”).

These Terms explain how our service works, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.

By using RescueRx, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

RescueRx provides private, remote clinical consultations for adults (18+) living in the UK.

We assess your request, review your medical information, and where clinically appropriate, issue a private digital prescription.

2. What we do

We provide:

  • Repeat prescriptions where treatment is stable and evidence supports safe continuation.

  • Emergency interim prescriptions to prevent lapses in essential medication.

  • Short-term private prescriptions for verified visitors to the UK who provide evidence of prior treatment.

  • Written clinical advice when prescribing is not appropriate.

We do not diagnose new long-term conditions or replace your GP’s ongoing medical care.

3. What you agree to provide

To use RescueRx, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.

  • Live in, or be temporarily staying in, the UK.

  • Provide evidence of identity and treatment history when requested.

  • Provide honest, complete, and accurate information.

  • Upload any documents required to ensure safe prescribing.

  • Tell us if anything changes in your health, medicines, or circumstances.

Providing misleading or incomplete information may lead to refusal of service.

4. Clinical decision-making

All prescribing decisions are based solely on professional clinical judgement.
We may refuse to prescribe if:

  • The treatment is not safe.

  • Information provided is incomplete or inconsistent.

  • Monitoring or tests are needed first.

  • The medicine requested is not suitable for remote prescribing.

  • You show signs suggesting a condition requiring face-to-face assessment.

You will not be charged if no prescription is issued.

5. Payments

  • Payment is taken after the clinician reviews your request.

  • If no prescription is issued, you are not charged.

  • Medicines are paid for separately at your chosen pharmacy.

6. How prescriptions are issued

  • All prescriptions are issued digitally via SignatureRx.

  • You may choose delivery to any participating pharmacy, or receive a secure PDF.

  • Dispensing and medication costs are determined by the pharmacy.

7. Emergencies

RescueRx is not an emergency service.

8. Data protection

We store your information securely and in line with GDPR and UK data protection law. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

9. Service availability

Occasionally the service may be unavailable due to technical issues or clinician absence. In this case, no clinical request will be actioned, and you will not be charged.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update our Terms periodically and will post updates on our website.
