Consent Policy.

This policy explains how we obtain and use your consent when using RescueRx

1. What you consent to when using our service

By submitting a consultation request, you confirm that you:

  • Understand this is a private clinical service.

  • Consent to remote assessment and communication.

  • Consent to sharing information with pharmacies for prescribing and dispensing.

  • Consent to us contacting your GP only if clinically necessary (with your permission first unless safety overrides this).

  • Consent to secure digital storage of your clinical data.

You may withdraw consent at any time, but this will stop us from providing care.

2. Informed consent for prescribing

Before issuing a prescription, we ensure you:

  • Receive clear explanations about benefits and risks.

  • Are advised if monitoring, tests, or GP involvement are needed.

  • Understand the limits of remote prescribing.

  • Have the opportunity to ask questions via the consultation system.

3. Refusing consent

If you refuse consent for essential elements to operate safely e.g. identity check, treatment history, doctor contact when necessary, we cannot proceed further and advise seeking care via alternative routes.
