Exclusions.

Some symptoms and conditions require in-person assessment, diagnostic testing, or specialist review and therefore cannot be safely managed through a remote prescribing service.

The list below highlights examples of conditions we do not treat or prescribe for.

This applies to treatments also.

  • Cancer treatments (except medications for managing side effects from these treatments)

  • Children under 18 years of age

  • Severe mental illness / antipsychotics

  • Vaccinations

  • Controlled drugs (except ADHD)

  • Opioids

  • LARCs

  • Weight loss injections

  • Acute, undiagnosed conditions 

  • Undocumented therapy

  • Treatments initiated recently or less than 3 months ago (unless temporary UK visitor) 

  • Treatments initiated at least 3 months ago but without monitoring up to date (e.g. blood test)

  • Request submitted in language other than in English (translated documents may be required)

This list is not exhaustive. If your condition falls into a category that requires face-to-face care, we will not issue prescription and advise you to seek appropriate medical care.
