RescueRx is a clinician-led digital prescribing platform designed to support patients who need a repeat or interim prescription for ongoing treatment.

It was established to provide a safe, efficient pathway for adult patients who are unable to access their usual prescriber promptly, or who prefer the flexibility of private prescribing alongside their existing NHS or private care.

The service focuses on continuation of care - not diagnosis nor long-term condition management - with prescriptions issued where there is clear clinical justification and appropriate evidence of ongoing treatment.

RescueRx is available to UK residents and eligible temporary visitors, helping to maintain continuity of treatment without unnecessary delays or disruption.
